Following College, I joined Teach for America and worked as a high school math teacher in the Mississippi Delta for 3 years. I earned a degree in business but my time as a teacher helped me realize that I loved working with young people. I went on to earn my Master's Degree in Education Leadership, helped start a charter school in Austin, lead an after-school college prep program in San Francisco and - currently - manage a college success program at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
I am also a private Executive Functioning Coach.
As a coach, I bring a decade of coaching experience with teens/ young adults, I have supported hundreds of young professionals experiencing the same anxiety I once faced. Much of my coaching experience has come working with students that face significant academic, intellectual and personal challenges. In spite of all that, I have seen my students accomplish amazing profession goals - working at Microsoft as software engineers, becoming lawyers, state legislators, and doctors.
We can waste so much time in our life drifting. Coaching is a powerful approach that helps people gain personal insight, strategy, and momentum to move forward with a sense of courage, confidence, and purpose. It is my sincere belief that coaching will empower you through the challenges you are experiencing in this moment.
